PRESIDENT
Raphaelle Viau
Raphaëlle Viau, a graduate in entrepreneurship, marketing, business acceleration and family management, has several years of experience in setting up innovative projects. With her atypical background as a high-level figure skater and competitive ballroom dancer, Raphaëlle values the discipline that she transposes with elegance and finesse in all her entrepreneurial endeavors.
Raphaëlle wanted to get involved with the ENDC so that our artists would have access to the tools and support to flourish and succeed in all facets of the fascinating dance world.
TREASURER
Rafael Formey de Saint Louvent
Rafael Formey de Saint Louvent closely knits three cultures that are dear to him: European, African and Canadian in Quebec, as each one has a rich and varied artistic heritage in which he has always been interested.
Dance, like the music that accompanies it, is part of this cultural eclecticism that is dear to him, because dance allows for the development of each person through the multiplicity of its expressions.
Moreover, the art of dance contributes to make him consider the existence as a true "art of living", in which each component becomes an indispensable pillar. Rafael has been working for the Mouvement des Caisses Desjardins for more than fifteen years, and is seduced by its local and cultural involvement. Beyond this activity, Rafael is interested in all forms of artistic expression.
SECRETARY
Edmond Nankam Dzokou
After completing his civil law degree at the University of Ottawa in 2016, and a Juris Doctor in North American common law at the University of Montreal in 2017, Edmond began his career as a business law lawyer with a regional Montreal law firm. Subsequently, he worked at another Montreal boutique law firm specializing in business law.
In 2021, Edmond co-founded NSC Legal, a law firm specialized in business law and civil and commercial litigation. Their mission is to provide quality legal services in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Edmond enthusiastically agreed to join the ENDC Board of Directors, as he was naturally charmed by the innovative concept of creating an educational framework to allow dancers to make a living from their art.
VICE-PRESIDENT
Gabrielle
Lemoine-Brin
The stage has always been part of Gabrielle's primary environment. An ecosystem of encounters and inspirations led her to a career in show production, putting her shoulder to the wheel with those who make the stage shine. A leap into the world of contemporary dance convinced her to pursue her training in stage management at the Collège Lionel-Groulx professional theater school. She later blossomed as a stage manager for a dance company, which led her to evolve professionally towards production coordination. After having taken up challenges in the circus, Gabrielle's love of movement and the emotion of the body inevitably led her back to the dance world. The ENDC project is a natural extension of this intrinsic passion. Her achievements are defined by collaboration; weaving inter-departmental links that allow for optimal working synergy. It is with this in mind that she is pursuing graduate studies in management, in order to have a broader vision of the achievements and issues specific to cultural organizations.
