Program Structure

  • The first year of the program focuses on the development and strengthening of the student's technical skills (technical dances, street dances, commercial dances, somatics, bio-mechanics), along with the development of theatrical and musical sensibilities. Students are also encouraged to reflect on their practice and are introduced to career management (daily structure, industry standards, performance psychology, etc.).

  • In addition to technical work, the second year is devoted to the development of each student's own creative vocabulary. In addition to choreographic work, students will be trained for audition preparation and workshop facilitation, combined with the development of critical thinking skills. Students will also learn the basics of the grant and scholarship writing process.

  • Building on the achievements of the first two years while continuing the technical and creative work, the third and final year of the program is based on the student's autonomous work. Students will collaborate on specific creative and performance projects intended for public presentation. The student will undertake the search for commercial and corporate contracts and will be supported in the development of distribution opportunities for their final project. Finally, students will actively participate in the creation and production of a choreographic work that will be presented at the end of their program.
